Inspiration Monday...Eva Mendes.. The Bad Storm..And A Vintage Home..

Hello everyone..I hope that you have all had a good weekend. I don't know about you, but we have had terrible storms here and there are a lot of homes destroyed, and lot's of people without electric. I will be posting some of the pictures through our town on Tuesday with my posting, so that you can see just how bad some of the damage is here. You will see in my posting for today the background of the sky..as I was taking the pictures we were getting ready to get hit with another bad storm..so I made it home just in-time. I will have to try tomorrow to get more pictures for the rest of the week, but I don't know what will come if we will have electric, or if we will get more storms!. To all of you with your homes ruined and without power during this horrible heat, my heart goes out to you...

I stopped at this beautiful home that was built in 1830. You can see in the pictures that we have not been getting rain, and it has been extremely hot, so all of the flowers are dying, as well as the grass etc. However, this property is very beautiful and the couple works very hard to care for the property and their crops. The lady of the home, her husband was actually born in the home where they live. How neat is that?.. In the pictures you will see "scarecrows" that she made..they are all so creative and unique and I really liked them, and the set-up that she had in her garden. I really enjoyed talking with her she was very sweet, and a special thanks to her for letting me take my pictures there.

So, this weeks inspiration over at Two Birds is Eva Mandes..See what you think of my take on her look..
