Little Black Dress..

Charlotte Russe dress: $3.99 from Goodwill
Necklace: gift
Nine West shoes: $3.99 from Goodwill
Bracelets: $3.00 from Walmart
Ring: $7.00 from XXI

Total look: $17.98

Every girl needs a "little black dress"..and it's always nice to find a great one for $3.99!
I have had this dress for years, and have worn it a million different ways, and have been complimented on it numerous times. Every time someone asks how much it was they are always shocked by my response. I decided not to wear this dress with heels, or anything too fancy..sometimes keeping it simple and classy is best...I like to let that little black dress speak for itself. Ladies..when you find that " little black dress" hold onto it, because there are only certain ones that will fit and flatter..and it is hard to find another!

80's Polka Dots With A Twist..

Vintage dress: $3.99 from Goodwill
Belt: $1.99
Necklace: .50
Bakers shoes: $20.00

Total look: $26.48

I found this old 80's dress at Goodwill last summer and it was too tight. This summer it was too big, so I added a belt to it to cinch it in, but I still need to have the shoulders stitched up a little to fit me better...which is why I kept my arms on my hips or held up, so I didn't show. I love this dress though..and what I love most is the color..and the polka dots! This is such a fun color to play with, and adding accessories just gives it more fun in color.

As you guys know, I started a new job a few weeks ago, and I am surrounded by clothing, and accessories everyday at work! bad..I know... However, I have been doing really well not buying anything unless I have money on my consigner account. This week, we got a gorgeous Coach purse (I thought) with matching accessories...I don't EVER buy expensive purses! However, I really loved this one..I came home and told my family that I really wanted this purse for my birthday, and that if I didn't get it a little early it would be gone! (My birthday is August, 19th)...plus I would get my discount at work if I bought it. My family, being the loving family that they are...got out their "sock change" and savings to buy me the Coach purse that I wanted for my birthday. My daughter..(Who NEVER gives money..and I mean NEVER, she sleeps with it..counts it every second.) she gave me all of her balled up dollars, and pennies to help pay for the purse..(tears)

Coach bag $71.00 (gift)

As Close To The Ocean As I am going To Get..

H&M shirt: $3.99 from Goodwill
Aeropostale skirt: $8.00 from Aeropostale
Belt: $1.99 from Goodwill
Nine West shoes: $3.99 from Goodwill
Jewelry: gift

Total look: $17.97

I found this skirt at Aeropostale in the clearance section. I love this skirt, it reminds me of the ocean...and I must say that is as close to the ocean as I am going to get! What I wouldn't give to be on the beach right now enjoying the sun, music, and fun...sigh..there is always next year..
I wore this skirt when I had my "mommy and daughter day" with Emily. We go out once a week and have our day with just us together. I didn't wear this outfit quite like this. I wore this with a black tank top, and my hair up and I enjoyed the breezy day going through the downtown part of Westerville with my daughter. We were looking for shabby chic furniture for our living room at some of the beautiful shops, and we ended up not finding any furniture that I was looking for..and came home with a 50's pink bathing suit, clothes for work, and a mirror for the house. Emily and I finished off the day by eating at a cute little pub, and doing crosswords together. I always love the happy ending to the day when my daughter says.."mommy I had the funnest day ever!"..

Peace, Love, And Happiness...

American Eagle tank: $6.00 from Dresscode
Premier jeans: $8.00 from Dresscode
Express bag: $45.00 from Dresscode
Sandals: $3.99 from Plato's Closet
Necklace: $1.99 from Goodwill
Bracelet: $1.99 from Goodwill
Gap belt: $1.99 from Goodwill

Total look: $68.96 (now normally I would NEVER spend that much for a purse..but it was my consigner money, and I decided to splurge for the bag.)

I just started my new job this week, so I have been super busy trying to get everything done and adjusting to my new schedule, so my apologies for not being a good "blogger".
Here lately, I have been finding a lot of cute American Eagle things at the Dresscode, that I would not normally buy in the store (cost, and usually a little too plain for me) I loved this crochet peace tank top and I can wear this $6.00 top in a multitude of ways. I see that I will always pair it with these jeans, because I just love these jeans! I don't know what I would do without them! What else am I loving? This new haircolor! I don't know how long it will stay that bright when the sun shines on it but, this time I purchased Garnier Nutrisse Light Intense Auburn for dark hair. Loving it so far..we will see how long it lasts.
Why label this posting Peace, Love, And Happiness? Well, the obvious for one is the peace shirt, and necklace..the love of the items, and haircolor, and for the peace and happiness of where I am at right now. I am finally getting to that place in my life where I am at peace with where I am, what I don't have, and the happiness to love what I do have. I always want better things, but when they happen they will..untill then I must be a peace, and love what I do have.
