Hello everyone..I hope that you all have had a good weekend..and it is nice to see you all here again. I have to say that I had an interesting weekend..this is for all of the mom's out there..and those of you who are not on my facebook. Warning..this is NOT a fashion story..On Friday night, my daughter and son were in the hexagon play area playing together as they usually do, and I decided to leave the room to get a few things done while they were playing. I was gone for about 10 mins..when my daughter came running into my room saying "mommy, mommy, Brayden has something brown all over his face and I don't know what it is!". Yes, you heard me right..something BROWN... I go into the living room, and my son is covered in poop somehow..all around his mouth, up his nose, all over his arms, squashed in his hands, etc. My first thought is I am freaking out, because I am not sure if he ate it..as gross as that sounds..he is 9mos. and putting everything in his mouth! Then I am running frantically to the tub to get all of it off of him, and wondering how in the world he got poop everywhere when I had just changed him, and he was clean....So, as I am cleaning my son, my detective skills come out...I go to the four year old..who is potty trained...."Emily, how did your brother eat poop?" "I don't know she says.." Lie number one was..she had it on her hands and it got on Brayden. Lie number 2 was..The cat did it..Lie number 3 was..that it was his...Lie number 4 was..I don't know..Lie number 5 was..She didn't know...Lie number 6 was..It magically appeared there...ha ha, I didn't know that there was a poop fairy. The truth ended up being that Emily pooped, sat down in the play area with the poop on her and got it everywhere...allowing her brother to play with it, and paint..Can any mother out there top this?..lol.
Brayden is fine, thank god. I am just hoping that I won't have any more stories like this...

ReplyDeleteAnd wow, thankfully we haven't really had any major poop episodes, although my little guy (who is 4 now) did have a couple of times when he was little when he pooped in the bathtub. It was pretty gross. ;)
Oh man, that is a great story haha Love the outfit!!

Ehurgh! We had a child like that at school today (the lies, not the poop). When asked where the 2 pencil sharpeners he had in the playground came from he replied that they had 'fallen from the sky'. Then when given 5 mins to sit, he said 'they came from the rocket', 5 mins later 'I brought them from home'. Finally after the teacher said she'd check with his mum, he said he'd taken them from the writing table! ahrgh! Your jacket is amazing- HELLO Ms Bilson!
ReplyDeleteUm that blazer is so amazing! I absolutely love everything about it! And I think you rocked your inspiration. Popping over from YOLO.

ReplyDeleteThat was some "mom" adventure, I don't know how I would have handled it!lol
ha! I wore the same colored blazer yesterday too!
ReplyDelete& eww I do not miss those brown messes lol
I am not a mom so I am shocked at this story. You handled it well though. It is so crazy, did your daughter just poop on the floor and your son played in it? OMG. Women with kids are courageous. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I love your outfit, simple and you look really skinny in those jeans. Dawn suitcase vignettes xo
