Who Says Curvy Girls Can't Wear Skinny Pants?...

Hello Everyone. I love skinny pants, but they do not always love my curves..however, I wanted to show off my new gold sparkly pumps, and I thought that they would be great with skinny pants. I must say that I really like how pretty these shoes are, but they are the worst! I actually think that the majority of the shoes that I own are the worst, but they look ohh so good...lol How many of you have the sexiest shoes, but they are only "show" shoes, or for when you are sitting? I mean my fit were killing me just for this shoot... Why do we buy these horrible shoes just to suffer in pain?..

Bowling..50's Style...

Hello everyone. I found this dress at the Salvation Army, which seems to be my favorite place to find vintage dresses at a low cost. This dress reminded me of bowling, so I went with it. Earlier in the week I had come across a vintage bowling ball in an old bag, and I thought of Fred Flintstone, and for using it for this shoot..then I thought what would I do with this bowling ball afterwards..lol..so, I ended up not getting it, although I thought that it would be cute in the pictures. I actually wanted to take the pictures inside, but there was going to be a bowling league coming in, so maybe next time I will be able to get a cute 50's shoot inside of the bowling alley..

Out Of My Comfort Zone..Into The Bright..

Hello everyone. Glad to see you all stop by again today. I found this vintage 80's dress/tunic I am not sure..at the Salvation Army last week, and yes..it still had the shoulder pads in it! I kept the shoulder pads in it when I wore it since they were small. I guess that I really wanted to feel the 80's vibe...lol. I liked this dress because of the back of it..it criss-crosses in the back and I love it. I love the bright colors of this dress also, I just wish that I would have worn a brighter lipstick with this dress, but I think I sweat off most of my makeup...I have not lost all of my baby weight yet, but I am getting there..so I stepped out of my comfort zone and into the bright!

Vintage 80's dress/tunic with shoulder pads..lol... $5.99 from Salvation Army

Inspiration Monday..Marion Cotillard..

Hello everyone..I hope that you all had a good weekend. I went to the Athen's Underground shop on Saturday and I bought one great vintage dress that I am waiting to show!. The shop was really neat and I was glad that I got to go, but I don't think I will be taking my kids with me by myself... This weeks inspiration at Two Birds is Marion Cotillard, I really love her dress! just the cute little dresses that I love to wear. I happened to find this dress at Salvation Army  through the week, and I didn't want to wait till half-off-day to get it, because I thought that it was so cute! Then when I went up to Easton through the week, I found these cute shoes at Bakers and I had to have them! They remind me of Carrie, from Sex And The City..I love them. I wanted them in every color, but they were sold out!

Cinderella Lost Her Glass Slipper...

Hi there everyone! I am happy that it is close to the end of the week! I will be going shopping at Athen's Underground this Saturday for the first time. I am excited to see what they have since I love everything from the 50's, so I am hoping to score some amazing one-of-a-kind pieces to blog about! I wish that these pictures that I took came out a little better then they did, so that you could see my outfit. The top is really cute, and has a beaded flower up at the top, the skirt is ruffled pink, and the shoes are Cinderella shoes! All of which were thrifted finds of course!..Again, I didn't get close-up's but the shoes are so cute, they have bows and crystals on them, and are clear..sooo cute! I found them at the Salvation Army!

Antiqued Crochet Dress, Broken Purse, And A Fall In The Hole..

Hi there everyone. For today's posting I am showing this crochet dress that I found at Goodwill. I love crochet vintage looking dresses, but I wasn't sure about this one.I love long ones, and I like for them to be sleeveless, and have a scoop cut at the bust. I found this one and decided to buy it to see what I could do with it. I loved this barn in the background and I wanted to be closer, but it was locked up under security..and the guy that ownes this drove by, so I thought that this was as far as I could go. While I was here my daughter was in the car, and was yelling so I took off to see what was going on and I fell and tripped into a hole, let's say that Emily, and her dad were both laughing at me while I was in pain..lol. All that to find that Emily had broken a handle off of my purse and that's what she was screaming about..

Thank you all for stopping by...see you tomorrow.
