Anyone Want To Go To The Drive In?....

Hello everyone. Thanks for stopping by! For today's posting I decided to do a 50's vintage drive in shoot. Here is what I have learned from this shoot..Never wear this skirt again in the hot sun! Don't take kids..lol. So, for every shoot that I do I have to change in the car..It was super hot on this day, and this skirt was like 100 degrees! While I am changing parked behind a dumpster I might add..my daughter decides that she has to pee..so luckily there was a dumpster there for her to pee behind..I started to think to myself of all the stories that my daughter is going to be telling her preschool class for this coming year, or the things she may be doing while she is there...lol. Ok..so, once my daughter pees she pees in her boots! (don't ask me why she wore boots on this hot day) Then she is screaming behind the dumpster because she peed in her boots..lol. After all of this Emily starts complaining as soon as I start the shoot.."When are we going to be done?" "Why do we have to do this every weekend?" I say, "because mommy wants to be a photographer and set up fashion photo-shoots someday"..Emily responds "Mom that is never going to happen, no one will ever find you so lets go!". I told her when I do get to become that someday I am not taking her to Disneyland..lol...  Oh, then my son decides that he needed to poop, and then my daughter spilled her drink all over my seat for me to have a wet butt.

Inspiration Monday...Michelle Trachtenberg..

Hello all. I hope that you all had a great weekend. For today the inspiration over at Twobirds is Michelle Trachtenberg. I always like to wear maxi dresses in the summer they are easy to wear especially for a mom on the go. I decided not to wear the denim it was way too hot! I like this cardigan a lot that I choose to wear. I found it at Plato's Closet and I have worn it many times it is so comfy. I also added some fun accessories to change it up to. See what you think of my inspired look. I love the total comfort of this look.

Fruit, Or Vegetables Anyone?...

Hello all. Thanks for stopping by for more fashion fun. Over the weekend I told you that I went to the Salvation Army in Columbus and I found some cute vintage pieces. This was one of them! I was drawn to this dress because it was short for one..most of the vintage dresses that I find are long. I also liked the detailing of the embroidery around the collar and the sleeves, as well as the bright color. I stopped at this fruit and vegetable stand in Lancaster to take my pictures because I thought that they had a nice setup, as well as great product. This is Witten's stand and they stock everything fresh everyday, and they are super nice! What do you think of the dress? I wish that I would have taken a closer picture of the embroidery at the top of the dress so that you could see how cute it is.

Vintage dress: $5.99 from Salvation Army
Miss Bisou wedges: $3.99 from Goodwill

Total look: $9.98

I am not sure what I was doing here..lol

60's Pump Service...

Hello everyone. Happy Wednesday to you all. Last week I decided that I wanted to do a shoot in this vintage dress that I found at Goodwill, it reminds me of the 60's era. I found this vintage gas station set-up and decided to take it there since it looked like a 60's era gas station. The dress was plain to me so I decided to add a few things to spice it up. While I was doing this shoot, it was super hot and my daughter was collecting rocks on the side of the sidewalk yelling about ice cream. Then while I was doing the shoot cars were honking at me as they were going by..so I laughed and said that my outfit must have looked good to someone! lol. I thought that this vintage looking gas station was pretty neat..what do you think of the whole thing?
